I have looked all over the internet and I just can't seem to find a solution for my problem.

I built my own pc and it has been working fine for over a year now. I finally decided to add more ram to it and I received the ram stick today. After installing it the computer seemed fine but then everything just completely froze. It has happened a few times within the first hour. I am not sure exactly what to do. I bought the same exact ram stick and everything so i'm not sure why it keeps freezing. I also realized it only freezes when i'm using a lot of the ram at the same time. Like having a game open and like 3 tabs on chrome, as well as a few other applications. I have to do this because i'm a streamer. Anyways If anyone can help I would highly appreciate it.

I'm going to add a link to everything in my computer.

Solution
Disabling dual channel will cut RAM bandwidth in half.
Try the Advance memory settings in the BIOS.
Also you could try to manually change the RAM speed, that could make the RAM more stable without disabling dual channel setting.
As you may have seen, RAM comes on kits that have been tested to work in tandem when working in dual channel.
Even though you got a RAM model that looks similar to your previous RAM module, it might not be.
The Integrated Circuit (IC) chip might even be from a different manufacturer.
You might need to disable dual channel so the two RAM modules could work independently from one another, since it looks like they are not getting along.
