Hello,
I bought a scorpion km400 keyboard (with a mouse) 1 year ago,and it still functions perfectly. But back then, I was looking for some nice keyboard, and I didn't knew about mechanical ones. I know that one day it will eventually die, so it will need to be replaced. My friend says that the razer's one is perfect, and had no issues with it. Km400 was not that a big deal about the price, but 170$ is kinda high. I heard that durability goes to 80 mil keystrokes, yet I am not sure about that, please write me if that is real or not.I am playing fps games like csgo, paladins ,cs 1.6 etc etc. So, should I save and opt for razer, or just buy another cheap membrane backlight keyboard? And another question, will be there any diffrence performance wise, like distance travel, actuation point, sound and stuff like that?
Thanks is advance! <3

That's exactly what i did before i bought my STRAFE RGB KB. On paper, Cherry MX Brown seemed the best but in reality, i didn't like the tactile bump at all. Cherry MX Black was way too hard to press and i don't like the "click" sound of Cherry MX Blue. Cherry MX Red was the best i tried out. Since Cherry MX Silent is same as Cherry MX Red, but about 30%...

Since choosing a KB is completely personal choice, no-one can tell which KB to go for.

As far as my own personal preference goes, it's Corsair STRAFE RGB with Cherry MX Silent switches,

I have STRAFE RGB in use with my main PC for over a year now and it works perfectly. Also, Cherry MX Silent switches are quiet enough without annoyance to anyone around you, yourself included with light press force, ideal for rapid key presses without tiring out your fingers. Oh, it also has 0% of KB ghosting due to the n-key rollover.

The only way to buy a mechanical keyboard is find a store that sells them, then go punch some keys. There's a rather large difference in tactile feel between the colors, some ppl prefer the reds, some the blues etc. Some click hard, some click soft, some require full punch, some barely touch. It sucks spending a lot of money on a kb you really don't like after a minute of typing.

While I do agree with you for the most part--that having experience with a key switch type and kb is very important, a few weeks ago I got a new Rosewill rgb programmable gaming kb with their 'Brown' switches and I just love it. Usually I stick to Cherry

I have a Razor Black Widow Ultimate with Cherry MX Blue but I love this one

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075GHFVTC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and unlike the HORRIBLE Razer software/spyware the software to enable everything programmable in the Rosewill is a tiny install that keeps itself updated. Allows you to program every key with macros, customize the lighting and layout for specific games via profiles, it's AWESOME. They even have predefined templates you can start with. You can also export and import them.

I have one of those Cougar hybrids that are supposed to somewhat emulate mechanical kbs, but without the interchangeable keys. It's actually not a bad kb at all, and I'm used to it. But my favorite keyboard is the logitech G110. Nice wide spaced keys, full plastic so no worn out paint, soft touch like a laptop, dead quiet operation. Really a pleasure to type with. So much so my wife (she types 120+ wpm) stole it for herself. Best kb logitech ever produced imho, which explains why you can't find them at reasonable prices anymore.

I learned to type on the original, swing arm fully mechanical typewriters, long before even electric typewriters became popular, so I can appreciate modern mechanicals, but they aren't for everyone, so finding what works for you personally is far better than buying a mechanical simply because you feel you must. Kb's, mice, pads, RGB, cases and anything else you have to look at or touch are far too personal an item to purchase without being absolutely sure its 'you', regardless of how much other ppl say its good or a must have.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I tested Razer Blackwidow Chroma and it was great! I tried Cherry MX Blues, but they were louder than Greens. I googled a bit more and came to conclusion that i should buy Razer.
