Kind of a rare case I would say,
I have 2 sticks of crucial and 2 of g.skill.
All of them 4GB 1600Mhz CL11 DDR3 and all of them did work for me together for months if not years!
today morning I try to turn on my pc and it won't post. I get continuous beeping sound meaning its a ram issue. I tried reinstalling them in different orders and yet no solution. every combination within the first 2 slots worked fine, but the moment I add the 3rd/4th stick of ram, I get this issue again. I have no idea what to do! desperate for your help guys!

That is not a rare case. Memory is guaranteed in the form sold and not in other combinations you happen to make.

When adding extra memory it commonly causes the memory to no longer be able to operate at rated specifications.

Workarounds to get extra memory to work include:
Lower memory clock speed
Increase DRAM voltage
Relax DRAM timings
Lower CPU multiplier

Considering they have worked for a long time, you may want to run MemTest86 to test for defective memory.
