Today all of a sudden my pc shuts down. And when I restart it. It goes to my destop and this window pops out.
C:/windows/system32/cmd.exe and it keeps shutting down 5-7 sec after that, and when i restart pc
same thing happens all the time, I cant do anything. In safe mode its works fine, but as soon as i get to my account same story happens over and over. Anyone know the fix for this?

Solution

go to folder options > view > uncheck 'hide extensions for known file types"

Now you should be able to right click and rename the cmd.exe file, just know that this is not a permanent fix - you wont be able to use command prompt or any sw that uses it.

Were you able to rename cmd.exe to cmd.ex_? Maybe that will prevent command prompt from running and perhaps that will keep your PC from restarting.

Maybe a re-install of windows will fix it?
