Most of the times i play games/watch series/listen to music.. I saw the Audio Technica ATH-M20X but i cant get a clear answer if they are good for gaming, some say they do some say they dont... I play fps shooter games and i can't find answer to whether or not the sound of footsteps/gunshots is clear in these headphones. Otherwise im planning to buy the Sharkoon Skiller SGH1.

Well the M20X's are closed back, they don't have the greatest sound stage. You will certainly still hear footsteps however it will be slightly harder to tell how far and in which direction the footsteps came from. An open back set that those sharkoons may be a bit better in that area. However for everything else such as music, movies, games where I don't need the incredibly small advantage those sharkoons would give me, I would rather have the M20X's.

so all you are saying is sharkoon MAY be a BIT better only in the footstep/gunshot part though m20x excel at everything else? That incedibly small advantage is only in the footstep part right?
