Hello there,
So, i got myself a new hard drive(third one), but whenever i connect him my pc wont start anymore, no, it's not hdd's fault, i've tried it elsewhere. I've been thinking that it might be because of psu.
Pc specs are c2d e8400 3ghz, 4gb ram, hd4850 1gb, 160gb and 320gb sata drives, few additional fans, 400w psu.
Should i get psu with better wattage? Otherwise i couldn't explain to myself why wouldn't it start after connecting another 1tb sata drive. The screen just stays black, every fan is fully powered and its not caused by ram. Even after removing the hdd there are still problems, after that there are still few bad start ups where it actually won't start, i have to disconnect like everythign except windows hdd and try over, over and over

Solution
It's possible you are very close to the limit of the PSU and the HD is putting you over. Normally I wouldn't think it's probable......but in this case I think it might be being you mention you still have problems when you remove it.
