Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade my HP Pavilion 500-314 so i can play modern games at a resonable fps and with faster load speeds.

Specifically, can anyone recommend what exact components I should buy? (GPU,CPU,RAM,SSD,ect)

Thanks!

If this is your PC, the GTX 1050 Ti would be about the best gfx card for any CPU that fits the FM2+ socket. And all your PSU can handle safely. You've got enough RAM for now, but a SSD would always be a good upgrade. But if you keep your games on the HDD, you won't see any increase in load times for them.

You might see a small (~15%) performance bump if you upgrade to something like an Athlon X4 870K. But it may not be recognized by the HP's BIOS w/o an update. And really not worth it.
