Just did a clean install of windows 10 and am trying to get the wifi on it working again. I need to download drivers for my wireless network usb card, but I can't do that without internet. Some things I've read online say to install the lan driver's from the motherboard cd. So, do I need any if the drivers that come on the mobo CD (ex: INF, hd audio driver and application, Rapid storage technology driver, ME driver, Intel lan).

Thanks for any replies regarding how to get WiFi, and if I need Mobo drivers.

The Motherboard drivers wont help you with your wireless network USB card. If you installed Windows 10 without the internet you should install all the drivers off the motherboards CD ROM anyway. Your only option is to download the drivers on another computer or use the ethernet connection on the computer you have.

Are the motherboard drivers necessary. Everything seems to work perfectly fine (except internet) without those drivers on the CD. I never remember installing those before the clean install. Another question: after the clean install, for some reason my mouse settings are still the same. Right when I turned my PC back on after the clean install, the mouse colors went back to what I had them set to previously. How did this happen? It's very weird

Windows has inbuilt drivers but if you weren't connected to the internet during the install they may not be the most up-to-date versions. The best ones will normally be the ones on the CD ROM.
