Can't connect h100i v2 to motherboard??

hi, i have a h100i v2
there is a 3pin connector on it and i can't find the 3 pin on the motherboard? i have looked on the motherboard and it's just 4 pin connectors which i can't connect my h100i v2 cable thing onto

sorry i am building my first computer i'm a noob X

If you mean a 3 pin CPU fan/pump header, you can plug it into a 4 pin header on the Motherboard. Plug it into the first 3 pins from the left (leaving the 4th on the right empty). If you're unsure where this header is on your Motherboard, let me know which model you have and i can find out. Hope this helps! :)
