why doesnt my mobo work with my ram

i have an Acer Q57H-AM motherboard it says it supports up to 16gb of ddr3 ram which is what i put into it (Samsung M378B5173DBO) and it doesn't boot i've tried with just one of the 4gb rams and it still doesn't work. it boots perfectly with the ram that came with it(4gb)

1| Are you on the latest BIOS for your motherboard?
2| Are you working with the exact same stick of ram that the board/prebuilt system came bundled with?
3| I'm assuming you've spread the identical sticks of ram across all 4 slots, i.e 4 slots times 4GB sticks?
4| Speaking of which can you please pass on the stickered information on the stick of ram that came bundled with the prebuilt?
