i just water cooled my cpu, but i didnt take any temps before, are these good temperatures for a custom loop?

the left is the current temp (100% load) the middle is the lowest (idle) and the right is the highest when on 100%

sorry if this this is an obvious question.
Thanks in advanced

So the left is 100% load, but the right is 100% load?

Is the right column once temps have equalized? Liquid cooling will take time before temps level out. 20mins minimum IMO.

What components are you running? What are your ambient temps?

sorry, i didnt really word that well, the left is the current temp, which is under 100% load, the right is the maximum it reached under 100% load, and the middle is idle, i left it running at 100% for about 15 minuets.

im running the xspc rx240 kit
i5 4960k 3.5ghz
the ambient temperature in my room is 20°c

You're running your CPU at stock on a custom loop?

15 minutes might be a little on the short side for fully equalized temps, but they give you a pretty solid idea.

Idle being only ~5'C above ambient is solid, and load temps look really good - but that is based on stock. Your baseline looks good, but I'd reserve judgement until you overclock and put some more voltage into the chip.

i didnt really consider overclocking it to be honest, but now that i have the cooling to do so i will, ill post here once i have some results

that is true, i could of spent the money on a new cpu or something, but ive wanted a custom water loop for a long time, i also have plans to upgrade my pc in the future, but the loop itself cost me £260
