The computer will just shut off while I'm playing a game. I have ran fur mark and prime95 to stress the system and see if its a overheating issue. Both the cpu and gpu gets up to about 80C and stays around there. The problem doesn't occur after long use of these programs so I do not think its an overheating issue.

I did a clean install of my video drives and reset the clock speed in my bios for my cpu and my clock speeds for my gpu, issue still occurs.

It happen twice yesterday once on fortnite and then once of no man sky. Today it happen three times on fortnite within an hour or two. The first time happen as soon as i kill someone, second happen about mid way in the game while running, and third happen right when i started the first game after it crashing the second time.

My pc specs are: I7 8700k, CM Hyper Evo, ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming K6, MSI Aero reference 1080TI, EVGA Supernova 750w, 16GB GSkill Ripjaws 3200mhz.
No overclock on cpu or gpu or memory.

I'm just not sure what it could be since its not an overheating issue maybe the power supply is going bad? Any help would be appreciated.

I looked at my event log and the following

I updated my bios and clock my ram to 2133 and so far from testing I haven't experience the issue so far. I'm gonna keep testing to be sure.
I do have one question if it is my power supply what would be a sign that it going bad. I've read to monitor the 12V and 5V rail and I have. The 12V during stress test will drop to 11.7 V and the 5V will be at 5.136 V. I did notice that while I was gaming the 12V drop to 11.520 V and from what I read that is low but still in spec. Would you suggest getting a new psu to see if my 12V rail is more stable.

I have the same EVGA 750 Supernova in another computer. They're good PSUs. But yeah, sometimes a power supply will slowly kack. Had a Corsair RM750 do the same thing. When my computer wouldn't start no more, I checked on line from Corsair and they listed my serial number as a recall. RMA it and got a new one.
Do you have another computer you could borrow the PSU out of?
Before you replace any hardware, reset the game or set the game back to default settings or reset. I know this is gonna sound weird, but sometimes online game servers remember crashes and black screen crashes like a game setting. Game sites like Origin and Steam keep your control settings so if you ever reload the game, your settings can be programmed back into the game. Make sure you write down your game settings (controls, video and brightness, etc) as they will be reset and have to be programmed back in.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, you need to replace the PSU.
