Having trouble with wifi card antennas

Hey all, I’ve just bought a wifi card, and am unsure as to how I go about connecting the antenna wires to the card itself? I’ve tried to “slot them in” to the gold (screwholes?) on the card, to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated

You likely have u.fl connectors. Although they are pretty standard between cards make sure your cable and your board are different. You need a male and female connector.

Mostly the problem is just getting them aligned. The connector just snaps in with a little pressure but they are so tiny it is hard to do.
