Want to upgrade CPU, need your opinion :)

Hello I want to buy this used CPU from ebay, would it be nice upgrade performance wise from my Pentium g3260? I remember couple years ago , I had average Quad-Core cpu , 2gb ram, average gpu like 512mb , but performance on that computer was really good, everything was fast no lags etc , like I had 16gb ram or something, felt really good, it was probably due to quad-core cpu.

Gaming wise it'll give you a bit more performance due to the extra cores.

The i5 is going to give you about a 45% improvement over that Pentium. If you think the price is reasonable for your region, then this is a good way to get more life out of your system.

Nope, the 4440 is no good. 4440 is only 3.4G after boost, not much faster.

With a GT 730 you won't be getting as much increase in performance, some but not as much as if you had a better GPU. You really need both a GPU and a CPU.

a 750ti or GTX 1030 is a good upgrade too if you have the budget. I will suggest a GPU upgrade first.

hard to find used cheap gpu in my country, unless just buying brand new in a store , which I can't really buy right now. this CPU is cheap thats why i'm interested. Living in Lithuania

I want to spend 100EU atm for upgrade. gpu/cpu.

check cpu/gpu usage during games or whatever tasks you need to do most and report back

MSI afterburner is a good tool.

The game im playing using mostly CPU but its old game. , checked through FPS Monitor , also I checked in the store I can get like brand new gt 1030 2gb for 90eu, or the processor I linked already.

dunno what would be better.
