So I got my computer last Christmas, it was running alright, until about a month ago, without any change in hardware, I start getting pretty heavy frame drops (60 -> 20-ish) out of nowhere. Which PC Part should I Upgrade for this problem, I was looking into the rx 580 8gb, but is the gpu the problem?

My parts are
i3-8100
Msi GTX 1050 To
8gb ddr4 ram
Hdd ( if that makes a difference)

Thanks guys.

Doesn't sound like a hardware problem, but monitoring temperatures is never a bad idea.

Update all the drivers. Update Windows, possibly update the motherboard BIOS.

Hard drives can certainly slow some things down. Use something like Crystal Disk Info to check the SMART reports on the drive. Could be failing.

GTX1050Ti is decent, an RX580 is certainly faster, but I wouldn't throw new hardware at the problem until you've identified what is wrong.
