will a gtx 550 ti fit in optiplex 780 mini tower???

As the question sstates will it fit?? i tried gt 9800 and it fits perfectly but problem is i saw both of these cards specs are pretty close as same just height of gt 9800 in 4.3 in and of gtx 550 ti its 4.4 in or less than that probaably in middle of 4.3 and 4.4 and also i have 3 slots and one of them is pci express 2.0 while others r not so gt 9800 is 1 slot wider and 550 ti is dual slot so will it fit?????does that matter???????????

Zotac GTX 1050 Ti Mini 4Gb or Zotac GTX1050 Mini 2Gb will fit, and run off of the Dell PSU. I've modded many ITX cards to look just like the stock Zotacs.
The easiest way to fit a GTX750 is to use a single fan low profile card with the tall bracket to make a 1 slot card.

yup thats right its the biggest case in 780 series gt 9800 was one lot wide so it fit this card i 2 slot wide and only 1 of them is pci express 2.0 not the other one will it fit same question for gtx 750 ti msi dual fan tooo????????????

You have the right to be careful. Dual slot is not going to fit in PCIE x16 slot without modifications.

First of all. What are you trying to fit, GTX 550TI as you stated in first post or GTX 750TI as you point it at your last post.
In any case please provide links to card you own (or at least exact model number). If you don't own that card, what is your budget and preferences. If you can provide 9800 model, which fits, that would be great, so we can guesstimate fit dimensions.

Next, please identify your PC from 2 pictures below - I am confused with the size of CPU heatsink with shroud assembly, both are listed as your model, but they look different.

You might have to cut one more slot opening to fit dual card.
