Alrighty. So I'm getting ready to buy the Ryzen 5 2600. I wanted to go for a motherboard that has nice upgradability in the future, so I'm going with the ASUS x370 strix f-gaming. The one for $172. In PC Part Picker it tells me that the motherboard and the CPU may need an upgraded bios version or something and that I could need a different CPU to do that. What do I do? Should I still go with these two components or will I have an issue? Help!

the CPU is a 2nd gen ryzen CPU so any motherboard that came out with the 1st gen ryzen CPU's will need the right bios for it to be compatible and its hard to know if the motherboard will come with the right BIOS or not. you can always go for it and if you find it does not boot or needs the updated BIOS you can get a free upgrade kit from AMD that will help you update the BIOS to get it working
