hey guys quick question
my name is matt and im having a serious problem,i just pulled up far cry 5 and started playing it,the first 5 min was great till my pc gave me a warning sign that my gpu is exceeding 82 degrees (never overcloked it).I have a 1080 founders edition and it hasnt been acting up is it possible that it needs to be dusted?.
my cpu is a 8700k and this is a new build but the 1080 came from my old build.Ive been using this build for about 2 weeks and its been fine till now.The gpu temps stay low when web browsing and anything besides gaming.I put the fans up to 70 percent and it seemed to help but is it okay to keep the fans spinning that fast?
just looked at task manager and saw my gpu at 99 percent usage locked.I don't know why its like that but when I close fortnite the usage goes down to 2 percent and the temps go down really fast and its at 48 degrees rn as im on the web.
Any suggestions?
