So I have been trouble shooting my pc's EVGA PSU. For a while, the computer worked fine; however, one morning, it wouldn't start up. I went through a series of checks to troubleshoot the problem, and figured out that the EVGA PSU was having issues. I had plugged in another Cooler Master PSU into my computer to make sure that the EVGA PSU was broken, and the Cooler Master PSU powered the computer fine. Then, just to make sure the PSU was dead, i tried powering only the CPU with the EVGA PSU and the rest of the computer with the Cooler Master PSU. Eventually, i figured out that my computer wouldn't start with the EVGA's 24 pin motherboard connector, but was able to run everything else. I am wondering if either the 24 pin cable is broken, or the modular slot on the PSU is broken. WOULD ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD BUY JUST A SINGLE MALE TO MALE 24 PIN CABLE???

*Just FYI but you shouldn't swap cables between PSU's... not saying you did but some fit into the PSU side but don't have the same connections on the PC side so you can fry things if you do that.

So if you buy a cable it MUST match your exact EVGA model.

I can't find anything that matches that isn't also EXPENSIVE (custom sleeved cables).

The cable seems to be in perfect condition...no bent pins...is it possible that the port and the PSU is bad? Maybe some short for only the 24 pin connector? The PSU is able to power the entire computer, except I need the extra Cooler Master PSU to plug into the 24 pin. 650 watts is plenty to power an i7 8700 and 1060.
