I'm upgrading some of my older components and my current PSU is about 5 years old. My new components are -
i7 8700k
Asus Rog Strix Z370E gaming
Gskill TridentZ RGB series DDR4 8GB x 2
Noctua NH-D15 Heatpipe CPU cooler

In addition to these i'll be re-using these parts
ROG Strix gtx 1080ti
Samsung 850 pro 512 SSD
WD 1TB HDD + 2 x 1TB External HDD
gaming kb+m

Please recommend a good PSU that can support these parts, according
to the Cooler master website I need 550W to run smoothly and it recommends a 650W one.

After a bit of browsing I found
Corsair RMX Series RM650x — 650 Watt

If there is another that suits my need better, please let me know.

Overestimates. Real testings and sensible math proves a good 550W PSU can support your system fine. Load power consumption will be ~350w.

The RMx is a great power supply. Other great units include the Bitfenix Whisper, EVGA G3, Seasonic Focus Plus.
