Half year old N3450+4gb+920mx asus x751n with 1tb hgst 7.2k drive could play gtaV on stable 20-55 fps(yeah..) after a reinstall of win10 and some time it started to do some half-sec freezes after about using 8gigs of pagefile while wandrring around.. everyone said its ram, its the celeron, but now with the help off hddscan i am 100% sure its the hdd.
Please confirm me, and some advices.
(I apologize for doing something that wrong in a forum like this; i am working most of the time and this just happened and i am phoning everywhere to get a new used one as fast as possible.. so sorry to probably violate a thousand rules)
(I forgot to include the amount.. currently 37k bad sectors and rising)

I know its not the thread i started for, but then this was the cause for stuttering in-game? I also experience very slow windows file manager(or whatever is that) starting up slowly.. and thanks for the pgfile advice ill probably set it back to windows controlled.

To analyze your hard drive, go to the maker's web site and download their tools.
https://www.hgst.com/support/hard-drive-support/downloads

The utility may be able to move bad sectors to some good spares.
Alternatively, a reinitialization of the drive may be able to fix the drive at the expense of losing all of your data.

You can test your ram with memtest86.
You should be able to complete a full pass with NO errors.

Take this as an opportunity to justify a move to a SSD, at least for the windows C drive.

Thank you all for the fast answers! I really appreciate it.
I'ill run them as soon as i get home. Any upgrade or hardware change will only and only occur if it dies. This is a cheap laptop and cuz of the dorm life coming in september again i need a multimedia/ultrabudget gaming thing for weekdays and this celeron does it. Also I should post the results here in case of possible help. I just cant imagine what did i done to it to have that many bad sectors. The first 7k was below 5ms or below 200 but then it started showing bads and probably still showing only bads after an hour. I didn't drop but when in use i did placed it on the table a bit hard all the time, i can say that, but it never crashed because of it so i thought its fine. Buut.. now im concerned.
