Hi all, I have the Radeon RX460 WINDFORCE OC 4G. In terms of resolution, their site says it does:

HDMI-2.0b*1 (Max Resolution: 4096x2160 @60 Hz)
Display Port-1.4 *1 (Max Resolution: 7680x4320 @60 Hz)

so if I use the display port on the card and use an adapter to plug it into the HDMI port on the other end, will the max resolution then drop down to 4096x2160 @60hz?

Solution
My guess, and it's just a guess, is yes it'll drop down. Usually to take advantage of certain features you need to have the correct output/cable/input chain. If anywhere in there you use something different then it might default to the lesser option. I'm pretty sure your monitor manual will tell you how high the HDMI resolution can go. If you are using the HDMI input then I expect that's how the monitor will treat it.
