GTX 1060 3GB gpu usage 50%

Hello guys!

I'm playing PUBG 3 days now, and today i overclocked my GPU and turned OSD in MSI AB

So it's showing me that game is using only 50% sometimes it goes to 40-60 % or 60-80%

Is this bottleneck? i hope it's not
My pc
CPU: i3 8100
GPU: Gigabyte 1060 3GB
RAM:8GB

Using latest drivers
Fresh windows 10

I don't play PUBG but that framerate looks pretty good to me. I'm assuming 1080p. From the screenshot I'd say that the reason your GPU isn't working harder is because your i3 is almost maxxed out. If you want to verify this, run the game with everything the same except at 720p. Does your framerate go up a lot?

you mean like changing the resolution to 1280x720?

it didn't help at all i got like more stutters on 720p then 1080p i got like +10 fps, but i want smooth gameplay

When you reduce resolution, such as to 720p from 1080p, you relieve the pressure on the videocard. So then, in theory, your framerate goes up a lot.

If this doesn't happen, it proves that the limiting factor is your CPU. That's because at a lower resolution your CPU becomes more important than the videocard. So by trying it and seeing for yourself that it didn't help, you know that your i3 is pretty much running the game as fast as it can. You overclocked your GPU but extra GPU performance is not what you need.

It's smoother in 1080p, but yea it's 100 fps, but still i got some stuttering, when the gpu usage drops to 50% i got lag..

Here is the guy with the same specs, but i have only 8GB ram
