Hey guys I'm fairly new with PC's but I have a very powerful gaming PC, I only really play CSGO and I get roughly 250 FPS on average. Which I know is good but when I see benchmark videos I see people with the same if not very similar specs to me getting around 500 FPS on max settings. I play on 1280x1024 stretched 4:3 res and the benchmark video is native max settings. I don't know if there is a fault in my PC or something but if you do know any reason why this could be happening PLEASE help me out! Any suggestions are appreciated!

Note - My frames in game are not capped.

My specs:

CPU - i7 7700k
GPU - Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB
MTB - ASUS STRIX Z270E
RAM - 2x8gb Vengeance DDR4
SSD - Kingston 240gb
HDD - WD Blue 1TB
PSU - Corsair CX750M 80 PLUS Bronze
Cooling - Stock fans in NZXT S340 plus 240mm water cooled CPU
