Hey so I'm building my 2nd ever PC. I want to build it so i can play with high fps at 2k, my PC at the moment can't handle it, so for my CPU I'm looking at getting a Intel Core i7 8700K. I'm not sure if i should get a GTX 1080 or GTX 1080 ti. Money is not really the issue its just that i don't want to buy something that's overkill.

Main games i will be playing is Battlefield V, Skyrim with ENB and Starfield when ever it comes out

For something like that, the 1080 Ti is the way to go with current GPUs. That said, not sure of your build time frame. Its rumored the 1180(or 2080) is shortly being announced. Again, just a rumor and speculation for exact dates. Could bring current generation prices down a bit.
