Will my Computer support Intel Core 2 Q6600

Solution
No need to ask this question again. The correct answer is the one you selected as Best Answer. I couldn't find enough information online about your motherboard, so you will either need to risk it and try the Q6600 in that motherboard, or contact Acer directly.

Edit: I did find this: Acer Veriton M265 Desktop PC w/ Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, but OEM computers can vary so much this might not match your computer
Both CPUs are the same socket type so should be okay if BIOS supports Q6600, if it doesn't then hopefully your PC maker has released a BIOS update to make it compatible - - - best if you check the Acer website first or just risk it and buy a Q6600 to see if it works. Sorry can't be more certain but it's not easy to find CPU upgrade info for factory-built computers, you might want to contact Acer tech support and ask them.
