My girlfriends pc was knocked over and the cheap HP plastic cracked and looks horrible. Im just looking to throw it into a new case and put a cheap gpu in but im having trouble finding whether or not it all will fit.

Her current pc is a storebought hp pavillion HPE h8-1020

CORE I7 2600S
2X4GB DDR3
RADEON HD6570
300W PSU
2TB HDD
120GB SSD

the case im looking to put it into is

1. i can not find whether her mother board is micro atx or the model number.

2. I would like to know if a gtx 1030 will work fine with her mobo as ive read a bit about the carmel boards not liking nvidia cards.

3. if anyone could point me to the direction of where to find a diagram for her Front panel connectors that would be greatly appreciated, when i transferred my case from a prebuilt to a full atx case the front panel connectors used a harness for power led, hd led, usb's etc. and I was not able to trace the wires back to where they came from at the top of the case.

i know this is a lot of questions but im extremely inadequate when it comes to PC confidence and would like any help i can get.

Thanks

Solution
Check to see if the GT 1030 in question has a requirement for UEFI BIOS (typically) listed among the specifications. If it does, there may be some issues getting the card to work.

Case Specifications:

Motherboard Compatibility Micro ATX / ATX / Mini-ITX

Your current computer has a Micro-ATX motherboard.
Motherboard Specs
Form factor: uATX - 24.4 cm (9.6 inches) x 24.4 cm (9.6 inches)

It will fit within the case.
It should not care what graphics card is installed; either AMD or NVidia.
The 300 watt power supply is, in my opinion, borderline for any graphics card and would probably recommend replacing it with a better unit.

As for the front panel, I found this online: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/help-with-front-panel-connectors/td-p/6420912

Thanks that diagram is extremely helpful, I apologize but I dont think I quite understand the GPU compatibility thing. I do know that the 1030 will fit but some people are saying it may not work as the she have something called a Legacy Bios Motherboard. Her PC was bought in 2010, one year after mine and I didn't have any issues putting a 1050ti in my mobo. Maybe the part Im not understanding is why the 1030 "wouldnt work" with a legacy bios.
