my computer was able to run siege at 200fps + on 1080 while on max settings, i quit for a while and came back. when i started playing games again i noticed a horrible lag, all my games run like * now. i barely manage a stable 60 fps on siege while everything is on low- people have said everything from its my ram, to my psu. im sick of this garbage and i want some ideas on how to fix it.

msi gtx 960 4gb- ryzen 1600- ab350m(mobo) - 8gb cheap kingston 2133hz x2 - 450/550 watt supply(old) - my hard drive is a Toshiba dt01aca100( must be old too)

<Language, please. Thanks>

Low speed ram 2133 on ryzen 1st gen, 960 also is on paur with my 1050ti , I had tried siege, and it was running 60 fps high.

Now we are gonna rule out component by component.
Download hd tune pro and go to health tab, take screenshot and paste it here (upload to hosting img site and paste link).
Go to userbenchmark, download benchmark and run it, post link of your result here.

The HDD is perfectly fine.

Go to control panel-> hardware and sound-> power option set to high
Then to double check, select "Change plan settings"-> Change Advanced power settings->Then "Processor power managment" (expand)-> Minimum set to 5%, max to 100%, and set to system cooling policy active (cause you are using active cooler i guess).

Restart PC via start menu, go to bios load uefi default, then save&exit.

Check again if it works everything all right.

To check usage of CPU&GPU, download MSI afterburner and install it with riva tuner (if you have riva tuner it should be in notification tab as little blue screen with something red).
Open MSI afterburner, go to settings-> to monitoring tab-> select CPU temperature and tick "Show on screen display" under CPU temperature Graph properties.
LIke this

Then do for the following
CPU Usage
CPU Clock
Framerate (both)
GPU temp
GPU Usage
GPU mem usage
GPU Core

Then after you open up riva tuner (as said up where is located)
Select Show on screen display to ON
and set Framerate Limit to 0! (It only limits FPS to 3D apps, not desktop or any other, just games in general).

Go open game in windowed (its easier), and after playing 5min for example , take screenshot of it and post it.
Sorry for bible.

Do it whenever you can or want, I wont blame you even if you respond after 2 months.
We are here to help you.

That's what you're supposed to see to check out CPU and GPU usage, temperature, etc. while in-game. Watch the counters, enable them if you have to as shown above.
