Can’t seem to instal wireless drivers after reformatting

I have an ACER Aspire One 756-887BCkk that I recently formatted.

I was able to reinstall windows and some HDMI and other video drivers no problem.

However, none of the files for wireless networking on the ACER site under this computer model seem to be working. The installer just crashes and exits.

I have tried

WLAN_Atheros_10.0.0.42_W7x86x64
Qualcomm_wireless_10.0.0.298

And many other packs until this model number from the ACER website. I don’t know what im doing wrong.

Have I been trying to instal the wrong drivers ?

Solution
Identify the make and model of the installed wireless adapter.

Go to the manufacturer's website and download the applicable drivers accordingly.
