Driver for TSSTcorp CDDVDW SU-208GB

The problem I am having is that another driver has taken the place of the original. (TSST CDDVDW SU-208GB.) In device manager, I have the old exclamation point and yellow triangle. What I am trying to do is to add music to my ipod and the itunes software won't accept the CD from which I to transfer to the ipod. My Desktop used to the job without any problems (I'm now on my laptop) but somewhere along the line, I assume an apple or windows update disrupted or changed something screwing the end user, hence my quest for the original driver. I have a rescue disk but am afraid that that will just make things worse.
