Do i get a 1080 or 1080ti?

Okay so i dont know what card to get.

I was looking at this asus strix 1080 a8g (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01IHEUDWA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1)

or this 1080ti (https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-NVIDIA-GeForce-Express-Graphics/dp/B06XSB4NW2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1534005635&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+rog+1080ti)

I kinda want to get the 1080 as i will have a good bit of money spare but with the 1080ti i wont really. Is it really worth the extra money for the frames?? Thanks

Worth is something only YOU can determine.
If you have the budget, buy a GTX1080ti.
I have found over the years that if I pay uncomfortably more for something good that I do not lateer regret the purchase as I do when I opt for the cheaper thing.

Why not buy a cheaper EVGA GTX1080ti for less?

I just like the look of the asus one. I want the 1080 version as ill just be able to buy alot more things with the spare money. Is there a huge fps difference? Dont know a lot about gpu's but the 1080ti has 11gb while the 1080 just has 8

The amount of vram will be appropriate to the graphics card; do not pick based on specs.

GTX1080ti is a more competent card mainly because it has 3584 CUDA cores vs. 2560 for the GTX1080.

Do you have a high refresh rate display?

If you only have a 60-75Hz display, it's probably not worth getting the 1080TI.

hAVE A 60HZ atm but if i get the 1080 ill have enough to get a 144hz monitor ...

You get about 25 more FPS in games.

If you're planning to play higher resolutions as well as 144Hz, then the 1080TI will be at an advantage.

I know for sure it will be a 1080p 144hz . Not too keen on playng at 4k or anything. Would it be good for that??

Kinda. I mean, depends on the game.

You won't be able to play all games on ultra and 144 FPS.
