Hello everyone, hope some can help me with the troubleshooting of r+ 2400g.
This is my build on ppicker.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pM7hFt

Basically r5 2400g+asus strix x370-f + team dark ram 2x4 2666mhz cl15.

My first mistake is looking for trouble working with early release r+ which is plagued by compatibility issue. Which first i didn't pay attention since there's number of review indicating it works just fine.

So i assemble everything with a6 9500 to update the bios. I'm installing win10 btw. Got all driver updated to the last version.

The last is to update the bios asus to 4012. And continue booting with the updater cpu just to make sure bios wont cause any instability with os.

Then i change the cpu to 2400g.
And booting up with qled post(dram)
I've try reslotting in any combinations but alas there's no luck.

Then i suspect the culpirt must be the bios. So i restocking the updater cpu and its pulsing with RED qled.
I jus need a green light so my mobo will act as traffict light..
Hv been try to sorting the clrt pin to reset the bios then booting but still red pulsing. Been retry 2x then replug anything on 3rd attemp. Still...

Is there anything i can do before i working with cmos?
Before i steep down to r5 1600 due to compability issues?
Thanks..

@countmike

Thx for the reply.
Why im take the cmos reset as the last resort coz its guarantee seal on it.
Btw i don't find reply button to ur post, mike.(posting from android on chrome).
So I'd better avoiding the 2400g? Since I've see on newegg there's 20% 1 star on this cpu? Should i take the 2600 instead 1600(less than 10usd in price) Thx in advance.

So since ive been busy, i tried to buy another ram set with hope of compability. It's used part and I've confirm its run just fine on 2400g on asrock b350 pro4, and I've check the manufacture compability with my mobo. But alas there's no hope.
So i take the brave methods to unplug the cmos battery and the bios won't reset. The upgrader cpu that use to boot up and start just posting cpu.
And i make a suspicious the mobo has been bricked.
And after some research on the bricked case shows up on prime pro whether in x370/b350 as well but in condition of being overclock failure which is diffrent from my case.
So I've take a solution to bring it to the asus sc nearby altough bad reviewof services, i put my chance on their aftersales services or rma it to the distributor.
Let's the story to be continue.

So after a while, my mobo being replaced with new unit. It's absolutely bricked after updating to v.4012.
What I've learned is that if u can't troubleshoot via bios crash free jumper clrt not resetting the bios, it is bricks so take no further step other than RMA.

I ended with 3 cpu and 2 ram. The last one of the ram is 3200 corsair led 16kit, Ridiculous price.
And I've returned one ram 8 kit 3000mhz with samsung chip.

Thing i found is if its blinking qled there's something wrong with mobo not the peripheral/atc.

Case closed, shit happen.
