Adding an internal USB 3.1 connector?

I recently built a PC in the In Win 301 C Micro ATX Case. This case features a USB Type C port on the front panel.

However my motherboard is the Asus TUF B360M-PLUS motherboard. This board has a type-C port on the rear IO, but as far as I can tell, no internal USB 3.1 header for me to connect the USB 3.1 cable from my case's front panel Type-C port to.

I have one open PCIE x1 slot. Does there exist a card that would add an internal USB 3.1 header? I've tried looking but so far I've only found cards that add USB 3.1 type A and C ports to the rear. I'd really like to make use of the front panel type-C port in case I get a VR headset.

Not that I'm seeing right now. You might try another thread and ask if there is 3.1 gen 2 convertors to USB 3.1 gen 1 or other out there. I'm not seeing any myself.

Specs say the board has an internal USB 3.1 header and a USB 2.0 header. Possibly labeled as USB 3.0 Remember 3.0 and 3.1 are the exact same thing, they just pointless changed the name to confuse people to no end. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/TUF-B360M-PLUS-GAMING/specifications/

thanks for replying, but in the specs I don't see anywhere it specifically states there's an internal USB 3.1 or 3.0 header, just type-A ports on the outside and one Type-C on the rear.

I've been looking at the board in person and can't find anywhere where a USB 3.1 cable would plug in, you can look yourself in the images on the asus website.

UPDATE: It seems like the "2 at midboard" phrase under the USB specs for the B360M may be a typo copied over from the full ATX version which appears to have 2 USB 3.1 headers on the right side of the board, and these are not present on the micro atx version that I have

see my update above, there are 2 extra 3.1 headers on the full atx mobo, but I literally cant find any in person of my micro atx version

okay just in case I'm making a dumb mistake, I will just describe my front panel situation

There are type-A ports with flat cables that merge and connect to the large rectangular port you just described on the mobo below my huge 24 pin connector. I think this is the 3.0 header right?

Then there is the type-c port below them with its own cable that ends in a smaller connector that looks like the one in the image I'm linking, I believe it's a USB 3.1 gen 2 cable, and there's nowhere for this cable to plug in on my motherboard

Ah Gen 2. Yes that is a problem. I don't seen any indication that this board has an internal USB 3.1 Gen 2 port on it. So you might be screwed.

I'm not seeing any internal PCIe card to facilitate it either, just ones to add additional rear USB ports, not provide an internal port for your front panel.
