This is my first build guys.

So i am running a ryzen 5 2600, with 8gb of ram (ddr4 2400), evga gtx 1070ti with an asrock b450m-hdv and a 650 watt psu.

I put everything together and the pc turns on. However my mobitor cycles through finds the correct cable but says no signal and gives me a balck screen.

I have tried turning it off and plugging it back after couple seconds (both pc and monitor)

I have reinstalled the gpu/blown air etc...

I have no clue how to fix this....

And yes the monitor is plugged in to the gpu. And i cant access the bios since my pc wont post(ryzen does not have igpu)).

Solution
Make sure, if required, that 6-pin/8-pin power leads are plugged in to the 1070.

Make sure monitor is actually connected to the 1070, not the mobo graphics port.

Check BIOS settings in case video output has to be set manually to "PCI Express" instead of "Integrated".

Your PSU should be okay so can't think of anything else to check - - - good luck.
