Hello!

I'm new to PC building and about to start my first gaming rig. I mostly play Blizzard games such as Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, WoW, etc. However, I play WoW 90% of the time and the other ones when there's not much to do in the game.

Having said that, I wonder which one of those two CPUs previously mentioned would be the best option for WoW, taking into account that the game uses two cores at most (I think). I'm thinking about pairing it with a 1060 6GB.

Thanks a lot for your responses!

Although the i3-8350k has a higher base speed and taking into consideration that WoW uses 1-2 cores at most?

right now i would not buy any computer parts. your in the middle of intel dropping there xent chipset and cpu on oct 1. nvidia is a few weeks is dropping there newer gpu. amd and in zen cpu for cost is looking good for entry level gamers. if you can wait i would for the money pick up the next ryzen on there 7nm cpu chip.

Source, please? If this is true, I might as well wait a few more months.

What is the most important things to look for when buying a CPU for WoW, what does the game need to operate at its max level: Cores, Threads, Frequency speed (GHz), cache, bus speed?????
