Does this list look good? Im trying to stay around 1050 and Im debating whether or not to get a 2600x with stock cooler or 2600 with this cooler I chose.

Im also thinking of waiting for the new 1100 series. Should i wait for the 1170 or get the 1080 right now. Heard the 1170 will be 17% faster than the 1080.

I'd personally go for the 2600 with a better aftermarket cooler-depending on your budget consider something like the cryorig h7 or even higher end solutions such as noctua's nh u12s.

As far as gpus go, the next gen nvidia cards are still unannounced. The rumour mill is swirling but there is nothing solid out yet. People saying "the 1170/1180 is going to be x% faster than the 1080" are literally talking out their ass-the specs of the cards have not been announced so theres no way of making an educated guess.

A 2600 with aftermarket cooler will at least be able to be oc'd to 2600x levels. However that PSU HAS TO GO. It will not power that system. Logically the 1170/1180 should be faster than what we have now but we don't know. All we have atm are some leaks claiming this and that but you won't know until the release (since they bloat the number at the annoucement usually you can't trust that).
