No RGB lights work on front fans but fans work

I have scoured the net for an answer and even written the hardware companies with no answer in 5 days. I have a Coolermaster H500P and a Maximus X Hero build that runs almost perfect but, the RGB does not work on the 2 stock front fans. The AIO cooler, motherboard and ram RGB works as advertised and I've tried all the RGB headers on the board with no luck. Aura software has made no difference either. My understanding is I need no controller for this to work as the board is the controller.
As this is my first RGB build, it's out of my wheelhouse but since this is the best hardware forum around, my hope is I can get schooled here.

Thanks in advance!

I believe the case comes with two pre-mounted Master Pro RGB fans in the front. These fans each have TWO cables coming out of them. For each fan there is one cable ending in a female (4 holes) fan connector about 3/8" wide that plugs into a mobo fan header OR a case fan control switch system, and this is for fan power and control. In addition the second cable ends in a different wider female (4 holes again) that is for power and control of the RGB lights in the fan. THIS connector plugs into a Aura RGB header (not the ARGB header) on the mobo. Now, since you have two fans, the case also came with a 1-to-3 splitter cable to allow you to connect both fans to a single mobo RGB header. So find that splitter and find the RGB cables from each...

First, thanks very much for the reply/help.
It appears to work but while I am very grateful, I swear I did nothing different this time than the last 25 times. Maybe unplugging each and plugging all the cables back tightened something that was loose???? Either way, I'll know to hit Tom's forum next time before trying the manufacturers forum.
Either way, you truly are a Grand Master! :)

I'm glad you got it working, and you may be exactly right. One of my favourite and first steps in many troubleshooting processes is to unplug and reconnect any wiring that may be involved. It's easy and free, and often it cleans some dirt or oxides off a contact and re-establishes the faulty connection. In your case with new stuff, it's more likely as you suggest - it just happened to find and fix a loose connection.

Thanks for Best Solution.
