New PC - Is something dead?

Hi!
I recently built a new pc but I'm a having some trouble getting everything to work. I plugged everything in and booted my PC through the DVI in graphics card but nothing, just blank screen. I then tried removing graphics card but also nothing through the motherboard. I then proceeded to disconnect everything from motherboard except my CPU but no beeps at all from my motherboard. The lights are on so I'm guessing it works. Do I have a dead CPU or something? I tried plugging in some speakers to the motherboard as well but no beeps. I checked out the forum with all the steps about the black screen and such.

Here is a link to the parts I bought
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nkFVGG (The incompatibility issue is about the cpu not having a fan but I bought non-K version which comes with a stock fan)

Thanks for all the help in advanced!

EDIT: Im a dummy but I realized I needed a specific speaker for the motherboard and I went out and got one as well as switching to Corsair Vengence DDR4 16gb 3000MHZ ram and now I'm getting one long beep that repeats. I can't find what it means becasue there's different interpretations but the prominent one is about memory? Would that be video memory or the RAM?

Hi! This is my second build! My first one was a few years back, but I guess this still feels sort of new to me since it has been awhile! If the 8pin PSU to motherboard you're talking about is connected near the CPU, then I have that plugged in. The CPU does have a cooler on top of it and the RAM Was locked down into the sockets, I heard the snap. Right now there is nothing in the motherboard besides the CPU, its fan and the PSU but I still do not hear any beeps from my motherboard when booting it up.

Taking a look at your motherboard RAM Support list, for the DDR4-3000 frequency, it shows that it doesn't support Patriot manufacturer. So that could be a possible compatibility issue. But, it does say it supports Patriot DDR4-3600 so it's not like it doesn't support the manufacturer all the together. But it would still be worth testing it out with different memory to eliminate it as an option.

Try a memory swap and keep your receipt. If it doesn't change behavior, take it back to the store.

Oh no, I really hope it isn't a compatibility issue. Thats weird it supports a higher model. Hm I hope I can swap the memory because apparently Frys doesn't allow the return of RAM and such unless unopened ):

I've taken memory back to Fry's before myself. I just told them it wasn't compatible.

Do you think it could be a problem with my CPU or motherboard? The absence of beeping is what is bothering me when there's nothing plugged in but the CPU, CPU fan and the PSU.
