Hi I'm trying to build a new PC on a $1200 budget and my friend has sent me this list of parts but also told me to come post it here to see if you all can nit pick it a bit better. Let me know if I can do better

You don't need a 750W power supply. And you really need a matched set of two DIMMs. A Dark Rock or beQuiet cooler is probably better cooling for about the same price.

OK, so according to me here, this is 60¢ cheaper than the proposed build. Not really much, except a far more versatile cpu, far stronger gpu,more ideal psu, double the ram, and still keeps the case, storage etc. No sacrifices on quality.
