I guess "components" is the closest forum to what I'm looking for... sorry if this is the wrong place!

I have a laptop that's in amazingly good condition for previously being owned by a teenage girl. the one problem is she put stickers all over the keys. I'm trying to find a way to safely remove the stickers, and the glue they're gonna leave behind, without hurting the keyboard or the laptop.

Can anyone recommend a method and/or product to help with this? The keyboard's in fine condition otherwise and it feels like a waste of money to just replace it.

Solution
my first suggestion as I live in the desert is to put it (the keyboard) on the porch for an hour or two and when the heat softens the glue it should be easier to remove.
once the stickers are removed any residue can be removed with an oil. I use baby oil for general adhesive removal. dampen the adhesive with the oil on a q-tip and leave until the oil softens the adhesive
