So i built my computer 4 years ago, and has worked well until 2 days ago. I was playing games and watching movies like i normaly do then turned of my pc. I woke up the next day to turn it on, the lights turned on and the fans were working. But i got no signal to the moniters and my led keyboard wont light up. So i tried moving the gpu to another pci slot and it didnt work. And thought it was the psu so i went out and bought a new one and it still didnt work. So this a mobo problem or cpu? I tried switching the ram around and that didnt work either?

Solution
try to bere bones the pc. onboard video and one ram stick. if there no post try the mb outside the case if there no post there after you cleared the cmos then you have a dead mb or cpu.

Do you hear short Beep when starting up?
Have you tried connecting it on something else like your TV, secondary monitor etc ?
If this doesn't work and you don't hear the beep, then you should test your RAM sticks (put them in other PC, download memtest and test them). If it still doesn't power on, you're right - it's motherboard or CPU problem.
