HDD 7200rpm with 66mb/reading

Hello there,
im using CrystalDiskMark and is showing 66.92mb/s[Reading] / 63.47mb/s[Write], those speeds are normal for a standard HDD 7200rpm on SATA2 motherboard?I just bought a Drevo 120GB SSD and switch to AHCI to see if it improves somethingI :/

I wonder if your HDD is on it's way out. Is SMART indicating any issues with the drive?

what the mb and chipset used. have you tried installing updated chipset drivers for the mb. you may be better off if it an old mb to turn off onboard sata port and use a 3 party sata card.

im using a "brandnew" Dell 780, Q45 chipset , Sata2 (3gb/s), from what i saw by other people, a lot of people have these numbers with HDD 7200rpm, I'll switch for an SDD and AHCI mode and see the results
