Ryzen 2700x with Wraith prism cooler - As a casual user, is this stock cooler enough?

I'm planning to build new PC with Ryzen 2700X that comes with a stock cooler. My question is, will this cooler be enough? I'm more of a casual user with occasional video editing, programming, and stuffs that we usually do on a computer(watching movies, browsing the net etc). I also play games from time to time. I also don't intend to do overclocking(As I don't know how to)

For gaming, my baseline is to play Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2(Yes, pretty old games) at max settings smoothly without heating up the CPU

So, I'm thinking if I should buy a better Liquid cooler or just use the stock fan so I could spend the money to a better Video card instead.

Yeah the stock cooler is great with Ryzen, you can even overclock a fair bit on...

Yeah the stock cooler is great with Ryzen, you can even overclock a fair bit on the stock cooler without having temp issues. Not to mention the stock cooler looks pretty nice too. *cough Intel cough*

Um, have you seen the AMD Stock coolers? They are a bit loud yes, but the noise is very low pitched making it very easy to tune out. I have seen much louder after market CPU coolers that sell well. The AMD Stock cooler is perfectly fine the way it is. I think you have the Intel box coolers mixed up with AMD ones as the Intel stock coolers scream like a jet engine with the CPU at stock speeds. Or maybe your confusing it with the lesser coolers with the Ryzen 3 and 5 CPU's, the Wraith cooler with the 2700x is really nice and cool as well as some similarly sized after market coolers while not being very loud.

Linus Tech Tips tested it on a heavy overclock, they described it as loud but a low tone, easy to tune out, like a dryer in the other room. So unless your PC is right next to your head I doubt you'll even be able to hear it.
