My son got a 1050 TI and we put it in his computer he has the gigabyte ga-x58a-ud5 V1 I7 12 gigs of ram. So it will run for a short time then stop everything locks up (BTW he has a corsair 750 wat power supply) so I did some looking about and tried to update the BIOS well the next BIOS is 2 megs and you have to run FBIOS well when I try and run it I get a FBIOS.DLL error dynamic error. I tried to boot in safe mode same thing. Anyone have any other fixes or ways to update the BIOS? any help would be great

The latest update for that BIOS was in 2011. I seriously doubt it is going to offer compatiblity with 1000 series UEFI graphics card. Also, the update is only 1.22mb, and the error you are getting tells me that possibly you have a bad flash drive or are trying to use a USB 3.0 flash drive on a system that probably doesn't have early USB 3.0 support on some of the USB headers, or at all. Try using a 2.0 flash drive and only use it in the USB ports located on the back of the motherboard, not in a hub or in the front of the case.

Or try another flash drive. It may be that the one you are using has issues.

It still may not offer any improvement though with that old of a bios image and hardware support that is 7 years old with a two year...

If this is the revision for your board, I'd highly suggest you stay away from BIOS version F7J and F8A. Both being Beta BIOS will only add to more misery in your normally working/operational system.

Can you please pass on your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
