My Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x8gb 3200mhz
MoBo: MSI B350M Bazooka
PSU: Silverstone Strider plus 500w Fully Modular 80+ Bronze
6 case fans and 2 LED strip
I was thinking of getting a rx580 8gb card. will my psu be enough to power the card?

Ya, you'll need to see if it has the cable connections you need. Power-wise it is still ok. Which model 580 are you looking at? A Nitro+?

Mine is just an 8-pin connector, but its just an MSI Armor edition. So nothing too crazy in the OC realm.

It really depends on your system and its total consumption.

I have a 580 + 2600x like you are planning. I ended up getting a 650w gold supply because it was on sale, but was aiming for 600w+. The 580 is recommended by manufacturers to be used with a 500w psu at minimum. When I was spec'ing out my build, I read the 580 has similar power consumption to a 1080, and saw 1080+2600x builds with power consumption of around 300w, slightly less even. So a 500w would be fine.

Look up an article about "picking the right power supply" or something similar on here. It goes into efficiency, power windows, picking the right rating and size, etc. Its a good read.

I was also planning on getting at least 600w psu but i saw the 500w fully modular one for less than $40 so i bought it. I currently have r5 2600x and a gtx 1050 ti and works just fine. I was also wondering if my specific psu is a good quality one and can handle rx 580 just fine because the rx 580 card that i will buy needs 1x 8pin and 1x 6pin and i specifically need rx 580 for my freesync monitor.
