Hi, I upgraded my graphics card from ASUS Radeon R9 380 4GB STRIX GAMING to Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8gb

Now lately im struggling with low fps, around 25-40 in BF1, Black ops 4 and starwars battlefront.
Battlefield 1 worked nicely with the other graphics card.

I do not seem to get low fps when i run VR games with the vive.

I just did a fresh install of windows 10 x64, updated bios, installed 18.5.1 of the amd radeon software.

I have tried setting the power slider in wattman to 50.

Tried all resolutions and the settings in Battlefield 1, but even at minimum resolution and all settings to low/off i still get horrible fps.

I honestly do now know how to fix the issue. please help me.

An RX 480 @1080p should be able to to hit 50+fps in those games. Assuming your PS is up snuff and your not overclocking I would definitely say it's time to do a RMA.

I would try the card in a different build. Why would you set the power slider to 50? Would that not throttle the card / underclock it? Can you disable throttling? RX480 can comsume upwards of 150Watts on high loads/clocks.

On AMD cards the deafult is "0" so i've set it to "+50" so to speak, to make sure it is not throttling.

My PSU can easily handle the GPU, im using a 650w PSU

I have no other build to try the graphics card in unfortunately.

My graphics settings in those games makes no difference whatsoever, i have tried with 1024x768 and low on all settings in BF1 not getting any change in the fps counter.

Warranty was over a month ago, but.i suppose i could send it back as an reclamation case, I just benchmarked then card in 1080p high settings, 39-47 fps so I suppose it's broken somehow
