I have a 1050ti and i was wondering if it would be enough for the HP Mixed reality headset, from what i have been seeing that one has 1440p screens unlike others having 1080p mostly, would the 1050ti Windforce oc with a overclock run that res in vr decent?

It's not the specific headset I'd have the issue with, it's the hardware you're proposing running it with.

It'll work, and you exceed the minimum specs - I just wouldn't be confident of an enjoyable experience in every available task/app/game

Not my place, but if you are in fact "dirt broke", perhaps now is not the time to be investing in VR/MR?

There's a lot of factors at play.

IIRC, for VR, you want double the refresh rate (as there's dual displays).... So I would expect you'd want a result of ~180FPS in any VR Test at 1440p...

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
Processor: Intel® i5-4590 / AMD FX 8350 equivalent or greater
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 970 / AMD Radeon™ R9 290 equivalent or greater

A 1050TI falls a ways short of a 970, but that's only "recommended", not "minimum".

By all means, go for it. Please post back with your experiences.
To me, it seems a little short on horsepower, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Good luck.
