So I downloaded my Windows 10 OS onto my SSD using the media creation tool and now my HDD doesn't show up anywhere except in my disk manager and there it shows up as being "unallocated". So what I want to know how to do is how to to use my HDD instead of my SSD for everything except my OS.

Solution

Disk Management.
Right click on that Unallocated space. Options will be self evident.

Later, this:

Go to disk manager, and right-click on the unallocated HDD. It should give you the option "New simple volume"... Well, follow the instructions. Asign it a letter, put it a name and it's done.

The HDD doesn't have any data, right?

A bit late but hope it helps you if you didn't solve it yet.
