Looking for a card that will run every game at 1440p at 70-90fps

Hey my dudes im looking for a card that will run every game i want at 1440p at highest settings at about 70-90fps. Im currently looking at an 8700K and a 2700x so cpu shouldnt be a prob, but since this is my first serious build, figured id ask the help of some pros. Ive narrowed my search to 2 cards - the 1070 and the 1070ti. I wouldnt want to spend much more on a card coz my budget is still relatively low, but i dont want to compromise on performance either. Ive seen quite a few benchmarks with rigs running this hardware, and am pretty confident in the 1070ti's abilities, but i dont want to have to buy another card a few years down the track to continue to play current titles. Just want to know if anyone has any idea on what to expect from these cards and whether or not theyre up to the job.

They will be up to the task at hand...provided the game developers decide not to bring out games that are demanding and that the manufacturers of the card(Nvidia) release proper drivers for their cards at the time of game launch to provide an optimal experience. You should be good for 2 years perhaps, longer if you dial down the in-game settings but at that resolution you'll be fine with the GTX1070Ti(or higher).

You could wait a little longer and see what Turing brings to the table...?

When I play monster Hunter world at 1440p I see 70-90 fps and that's with my 1080 ti, so it really depends on the game

GTX 780Ti is your lowest card for the specs you want, anything benching stronger will be fine.

Intel is the best for games and excellent for editing, Ryzen can be perfect for some of streaming or editing with gaming, this pickup of a 1070 ti, 1070 with 8700k or ryzen 2700x is so excellent for at least 4-5 years, you can play games and edit on ultra 2k and 1440p, it won't make almost any difference between the two GPUs.

and yeah was gonna be my next bet for a future proof build and im in no rush so ill probs just wait for the rtx cards to come out.
