Hey,
I have a Strix 970 paired with an i5 4690 and MSI Gaming 3 mobo. The thing is, I own this gpu for 2 n half years now. Every few months I do clean the fans and whatever heatsink that's accessible from the outside as I am not very keen on opening the thing. The only thing that I could never clean is the inner section of the heat sink. I dont know how dusty it is as I cannot see. For temperatures, I idle around 43C idle and 70C on full load, both with fan speed at 100%. Mind you I am from India and it is burning at this time of the year. Room temperatures are quite high.
So, my question is, based on my temperatures how dusty do you think my gpu is and do i need to clean in anytime soon? (By clean i mean, opening it up and cleaning everything, including a thermal paste re-application.)
Mt specs:
Proccy: i5 4690 @ 3.5GHZ
Mobo: MSI Gaming 3 z97
RAM: 16gb ddr3 @ 1600MHZ
GPU: Asus Strix GTX 970 4gb @ 1250MHZ
Case: Cooler Master K380
PSU: Cooler Master G650M
